What is Landlord and Tenant?

They are responsible for maintaining the property, ensuring it is safe and habitable, and adhering to legal requirements such as providing a Gas Safety Inspection (GSI) Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) and other relevant certificates. Landlords have to supply the current How to Rent Guide and to protect the tenant's deposit in an approved government scheme.

Tenants: The tenant is the individual or group who rents and occupies the property. They are responsible for paying rent, adhering to the terms of the tenancy agreement, and taking care of the property. Tenants have rights to a safe living environment and protection against unfair eviction.
